HISTORY

1969

In 1969, thanks to his accumulated experience, Nando starts up activity at Romagnani Stampi: his first steps were taken in a small 74-square-meter room with just one lathe and a milling machine.
In 1972, the factory location changes; business is booming and the small room starts to be too small, so the workspace doubles in size.

1972

1980

Between the end of the 70s and the mid-80s, a fundamental change takes place in the company’s path: access to foreign markets. The first international customer arrives from Costa Rica, followed by one in the United States. This is a flourishing period in which competition is almost non-existent and the most prosperous markets were the electric and household sectors.

1990

1993

In 1993, Nando’s son, Fausto, joins the company and immediately understands that the time had come to specialize in a specific sector and thus begins to focus on the Automotive sector. The mold that really marks Romagnani’s entry into the field is that of the bonnet for the Ferrari 360 Spider Modena.
In 1994 Romagnani created the first mold for the automotive market: the bonnet for a tractor. This is followed by the mold for the bonnet of a Ferrari: these are born the first steps of company’s specialization in a field that still today represents 100% of its production.

1994

1995

In 1995 Romagnani joins Ucisap and takes part in its first trade fair, the K’ in Düsseldorf.
From 1998 to 1999 Fausto Romagnani, immediately an active part of the association, holds the roles of board and president of Ucisap, then Istma Europe, then Istma World.

1998

2010

Over the years, Romagnani Stampi has strongly specialized in the automotive sector and, in particular, in the production of molds for large external aesthetic components: bumpers, spoilers, grilles and side panels. In 2010, a project with Audi represented the decisive turning point for Romagnani Stampi. Thanks to the speed with which the work is completed, the doors open to numerous collaborations, now consolidated, with ARaymond, Bolta, Rehau, Smp, Samvardhana motherson, and Lamborghini.
Romagnani Stampi is in a continuous phase of growth, evolution, and renewal.
